Daniele Francesco Santamaria is currently Ph.d. student at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Catania. His research interests mainly concentrate on the theoretical foundations and applications of knowledge representation and reasoning, with particular focus on linked-data and Semantic Web ontologies.
His doctoral project regards the investigation of ontological reasoning aspects of a multi-sorted fragment of computable set theory and their applications on Digital Humanities. Some of his research works also involve the development of Semantic Web ontologies for the Human and Social Sciences.
